- Take the phone or cable.
- Take a crimping tool cut the end and remove old crimp.
- Cut 1 inch of the outer cover of cable, you can see 4 wires coming out of the cable.
- Orange, blue, black and yellow wires will be their.
- Place those wires in RJ11 with help of crimping tool press so that the two wires are fixed exactly.
- Eight-condutor data cable contains 4 pairs of wire,
- The pairs are twisted together to maintain reliability on Ethernet.
- There are two wiring standards for these cables called "T-568A" and "T-568 B", they differ only in connection sequence.
- Note that the Blue pair is on the center pins and conveniently corresponds to the Red and Green pair in a normal phone line
Use crimping tool remove the jacket.
once you takeoff the jacket of the wire you can observe 4 pairs of twisted wires.
Just untwist them.
Cut in such a manner all should be same height.
Insert the wires into RJ45.
If the wire is excess then cut it with crimping tool.
just fit the wires in RJ45 , with the help of crimping tool punch it so that wires get fitted to crimp.
