The sum function is useful when you want to add or subtract values.

Select formulas from the excel sheet

In Formulas Autosum

When you select sum this happens.

Press Enter

Sum will be displayed

To enter a simple formula, type =sum in a cell.

For example:
=sum(A2,A3)
=sum(A2:A3)
=sum(A2,1250)
